Ed Marut

Vice-President of US Sales and Operations

Experience

Ed Marut joined Esterel Technologies in June 2004 as the Eastern US and Canda Regional Sales Manager. He is now the Vice-President of US SCADE Sales and US Operations.

From 2003 to 2004, Mr. Marut served as a management and technology consultant to "Global 500" companies. From 1996 to 2003, Mr. Marut was the Eastern Region Services Sales Manager for Wind River Systems. He is credited with the formation of the Field Consulting Engineering (FCE) organization which served as the launch of the successful re-entry of Wind River into the consulting business. This lead not only to a new, significant revenue stream but also served as the cornerstone for Wind River's "solution selling" and platform product initiatives.

From 1994 to 1996, Mr. Marut was a Senior Network Architect for Dow Jones. He was responsible for the "ground up" upgrade of the Dow Jones Telerate information system, then the largest, private, financial network in the world.

From 1985 to 1994, Mr. Marut began his career with Concurrent Computer Corporation (formerly Perkin-Elmer Data Systems Group) in the Special Systems Group. He advanced to the position of Principle Engineer where he was responsible for the design and development of real-time embedded system interfaces to the Concurrent OS/32 and RTU related super-minicomputers. He specifically was responsible for the commercialization of the VMEbus, MIL-STD-1553 and NTDS interfaces for military and commercial avionics and space systems.
